Job summary
The Department of Public Safety (DPS) is seeking a highly organized professional to join our team in the Accounting Unit as a Financial Specialist III.This position will perform advanced level financial work with accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
Responsibilities include processing a high volume of invoices, properly account for/record/manage/collect receivables, reconcile transactions,
and complete other assigned accounting tasks in a timely manner.
Qualifications
- Two years or more of full-time college coursework in accounting, business administration, office administration or a related field AND one (1) year or more of experience in accounting,
bookkeeping or technical level fiscal experience that involved the calculation,
recording and maintenance of accounting or financial records.
