    SUMMARY

    The position duties include a wide range of activities related to ensuring all cases and tasks are thoroughly resolved within specified time frames and making certain high levels of customer service are provided to all clients.


    SUPERVISION RECEIVED AND EXERCISED:
    Operates under the direct general supervision of a Supervisor.

    The HS
    IIIexercises no direct supervision over other employees but may act on behalf of or in the absence of the team supervisor.



    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
    The below statements are intended to describe the general nature and scope of work being performed by this position. This is not a complete listing of all responsibilities, duties and/or skills required. Other duties may be assigned.

    o Monitor CHA developed software tracking systems to ensure appropriate responses within required timeframes

    o Gather information to respond to Improving Properties Initiative (IPI) issues

    o Processes abatements as received on daily reports including placing, lifting and canceling

    o Issues ITTs and contract terminations related to HQS fails

    o Maintains 100% QC score for the HQS indicator

    o Maintain reporting mechanisms to oversee NMA responses to the IPI

    o Assist staff with responding to the IPI

    o Draft responses to issues

    o Provide excellent customer service to participants, landlords, co-workers, clients and vendors

    o Obtain certification in Housing Choice Voucher Specialist within 120 days of employment with a score greater than 84%

    o Ensure regular attendance and punctuality

    o Obtain Hearing Officer Training certification within 180 days of employment with a score greater than 84%

    o Perform other duties as assigned

    o Develop and maintain reporting

    o Conduct LMS trainings

    o Monitor mechanisms to oversee NMA responses to the ICPV Log

    o Gather information to respond to the Issues, Complaints, and Program Violations (ICPV) Log

    o Monitor and enforce participant compliance initiatives within the HCV/Section 8 Program

    o Draft responses and assist staff with responding to ICPV issues

    o Answer inquiries from the Office of General Counsel regarding both internal and outside litigation

    o Maintain ITT SharePoint log

    o Act as point of contact for CHA legal staff regarding escalated issues

    o Monitor administrative hearing decisions and track operational staff follow-up

    o Amend all escalated ITTs

    o Address and track FOIA and Subpoena requests

    o Attend meetings in the absence of the Supervisor as necessary

    o Address escalated issues at the first floor reception area

    o Complete special assignments as provided by supervisor, manager, or director


    DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    Education equivalent to a four-year degree from a regionally accredited institution in Public Administration, Social Science or a closely related field; a minimum of two years of progressively responsible work experience for a public agency, or related work in the social service or community service field preferred.

    Alternatively, a two-year degree with four years of experience will satisfy the qualifications.

    Ability to apply regulations pertaining to the program. Must be able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Must have excellent interpersonal skills necessary for conducting HCVP Participant interviews.

    Must possess strong computer and organizational skills required to prioritize tasks and demands and consistently deliver work product on time.
