Requirements:
Current Texas SLPA licensure6 months of full-time clinical experiencePediatrics experienceHome Health experience preferredBilingual is preferred, but not requiredResponsibilities include:Provides skilled speech therapy services/interventions in accordance with physician ordersProvides skilled speech therapy services/interventions in the patients home or daytime facilitySchedules weekly supervision visit(s) with his/her supervising SLP according to Texas board guidelinesCollaborates with all disciplines to plan and address team goals for each patientPlans for care to meet goals of the speech therapy interventionsUpdates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations.
