Mentor DSAP teachers and ensure they are supported in their professionaldevelopment and compliance expectations.
Offer targeted support to LTS teachers to ensure instructional consistency duringvacancies or transitions.
Provide real-time feedback and support to Assistant Teachers (ATs)and 1:1instructional staff.+
+ Instructional Coverage and Continuity: Model effective instructional strategiesin the classroom for teachers, with a particular focus on supporting LTS staff.
Serve as the lead teacher when a classroom vacancy exists, ensuring instructionalplans are followed and student needs are met.
Assist in lesson planning and delivery aligned with individualized educationprogram (IEP) goals and academic standards.+
+ Assessment Compliance Support:
Support administration of all state internal company assessments.
- Ensure ACI SPC formerly CASE documentation responsibilities completed collaboration School Director Step assist complete needed.
- Master's degree special education required valid teaching certification lieu advanced degree.
- Valid teaching certification required.
- Demonstrated success instructional coaching staff mentoring roles.
- Knowledge state federal special education laws e.g IDEA Section 504.
