Market Assistant CFO - Gallatin, United States - Highpoint Health – Sumner
Description
Responsible for leading the finance department's activities, functions, and resources to ensure they align with the organization's mission, values, and objectives.
Reports to:
CFO
- Manage and safeguard the hospital's investments within established guidelines.
- Oversee the Finance Department's activities for accurate and timely financial management reports.
- Establish and maintain systems and controls to verify the integrity of all processes and data.
- Prepare reports summarizing company business activity and financial position.
- Provide guidance in the implementation and ongoing operations of the decision support system.
- Plan and coordinate financial operations to control revenue, expenditures, and asset conservation.
- Coordinate and prepare for year-end audits.
- Stay informed of regulations and standards to ensure compliance.
- Provide cash forecasting for operating and capital expenditures.
- Prepare the institution's operating budget.
- Monitor prospective reimbursement methodologies and evaluate rate structures.
- May act as Chief Staffing Officer, managing labor processes.
- Develop and implement departmental goals and standards.
- Plan and monitor staffing activities.
- Encourage professional growth in the team.
Minimum Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance - Required
- Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business - Preferred
Required Skills:
- Critical thinking, decisive judgment, and ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Must perform well in a stressful environment.
Licenses:
- CPA - Preferred
Minimum Work Experience:
- Five years of for-profit hospital experience with at least three years in a supervisory role.
