    Job Summary

    The Nurse Graduate Opportunity is a full-time position working under the supervision of the Unit Director.

    The Nurse Graduate will begin an orientation program (didactic and clinical) in a structured setting with a defined educational program for the orientation of new graduates under the continuous, on-site supervision of a registered professional nurse.

    The Nurse Graduate must pass the NCLEX examination within 3 months of starting orientation.

    Schedule - Orienation schedule will be determined by the Unit Director.

    Education Requirements


    • Must be eligible for State of Maine RN Licensure
    • Successful completion of the NCLEX within three months
    • BLS required within 30 days of hire
    Other Skill Required


    • Demonstrated professional nursing behaviors including collaborative approaches to care
    • Ability to work as a member of a multidisciplinary team
    • Effective interpersonal skills
    • Possess excellent written and oral communication skills
    • Must be able to communicate effectively with patients, families, and hospital staff in accordance with established policies and procedures
    • Must be able to demonstrate patient centered/patient valued behaviors
