    Job Overview:

    The A-Team Assistant will be responsible for the successful execution of all A-Team responsibility areas during open hours at The Anchor. These areas include running all facets of the command & control center, assisting, demonstrating, & promoting to customers using various physical & electronic games & attractions, & regular sanitation of touch point surfaces, among other assigned tasks.

    Additionally, A-Team Assistants will play a key role in the coordination, organization, & execution of numerous events, parties, clinics, & camps hosted at The Anchor or other venues throughout the Shangri-La Resort property. All functions of this position will contribute to a fun, exciting, energy-driven atmosphere designed to maximize enjoyment for all visitors & enhance value for Shangri-La members.

  • Reliable transportation.

  • Positive, outgoing, high-energy approach necessary for fun & fast-paced position.
    Special Demands:

    Prolonged standing, lifting of items up to 50 lbs., moving of furniture & equipment indoors & outdoors in all conditions occasionally required.

    Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Process transactions from customers seeking to obtain or modify game cards, play arcade, simulator, or VR games, redeem gaming credits, rent equipment, purchase merchandise, or reserve court time.
  • Answer phone calls & greet incoming customers.
  • Demonstrate & upsell to customers using gaming machines.
  • Participate in regular training for incoming & continual part-time staff.
  • Generate advertising & promotional content for various media platforms.
  • Perform preventative & corrective maintenance on various machines & equipment.
  • Perform regular sanitation of all touch-point surfaces & other areas requiring cleaning.
  • Perform regular inventory counting & reporting.
  • Attend planning meetings for numerous Shangri-La parties, events, clinics, & camps.
  • Perform set up & tear down tasks related to parties, events, clinics, & camps.
  • Address & resolve customer complaints leading to a satisfactory solution.
  • Other duties as assigned by A-Team Associates or the Director of Anchor Operations.
