    Job Description

    Job DescriptionDescriptionSlabe Machine Products is looking for a CNC Turn Mill operator(s) to add to our 1st shift staff We are looking for a Multi-Axis Operator who has operated a Nakamura or similar machines.

    Key Responsibilities
    • Operate twin axis lathe- Omni Turn.
    • Load fixture in machine with blank parts to be machined or a machined part for one (1) of the part specific operations which would be noted on job router.
    • Utilize measuring devices to accurately measure part characteristics to ensure they meet within part conformance requirements, document measurements on inspection documents.
    • Seek supervisory help if machine fails, measurements get completely outside limits.
    • Document on router production, quality & scrap counts daily.
    • Check to make sure Coolant or Oil levels are at proper function levels.


    Skills Knowledge and Expertise
    • CNC machining experience, preferably with Turn Mill
    • Aerospace Industry experience
    • Ability to read GD&T Code
    • Ability to use all measuring tools
