    About the Role

    The

    Principal New Product Offering Launch Program Manager


    is an ideal opportunity for an individual contributor with a comprehensive leadership toolkit and proven track record to influence, drive, and collaborate cross-functional teams to bring new products and services to market.

    As a key member of Workday's Enterprise Transformation Management organization, you will take an activist program management approach, apply deep experience in functional processes, use a consultative approach as you engage key team members across Workday's enablement and operational organizations to successfully launch new offerings.

    Key Responsibilities

    Drives the New Offering Launch program plan from kick-off to launch for new products in a cloud software environment
    Works closely with the Product Owner to drive decisions, mitigate risks and resolve escalations
    Leads the overall new offering launch plan from initiation to transactional/operational readiness and launch to market
    Identifies and leads risks associated with the new offering launch
    Drives the New Offering Launch program plan from kick-off to launch for new products in a cloud software environment
    Works closely with the Product Owner to drive decisions, mitigate risks and resolve escalations
    Leads the overall new offering launch plan from initiation to transactional/operational readiness and launch to market
    Identifies and manages risks associated with the new offering launch
    Have in depth understanding of the product vision, value proposition and roadmap, milestones deliverables and interdependencies
    About You

    Have you owned execution strategy, managing and aligning product launch planning, and achievement KRs? In other words, do you think like a GM?


    Highly visible, with extensive executive interaction, you must possess exceptional organization, presentation, management and communication skills given the varied nature of the programs and team members involved.

    While being an expert in all functions is not required, you'll need to demonstrate the confidence, resourcefulness, adaptability and flexibility to address issues in order to move a program forward.

    Minimum Qualifications

    BS or MBA in Business, Technology, Organizational Development, General Management, or equivalent
    7+ years of project/program management experience
    Led several x-organization enterprise wide programs in a hypergrowth environment
    Strong leader, teammate and motivator with the ability to work collaboratively with and through others
    Software delivery or implementation experience with an enterprise products company is a plus
    Top-tier professional with well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills
    Strong presence and interpersonal skills to interact with team, executives, colleagues, cross-functional teams, and third parties.
    Excellent presentation skills with senior leadership
    Ability to influence, establish and maintain strong relationships at all levels of the organization,
    Expertise with collaboration tools (G Suite, Zoom, Slack, and Smartsheet)
    Acute eye for business and understanding of organizational issues and challenges
    Other Qualifications

    Drives the New Offering Launch program plan from kick-off to launch for new products in a cloud software environment
    Works closely with the Product Owner to drive decisions, mitigate risks and resolve issues
    Presents program status updates to senior management, highlighting risks and providing recommendations to support product and operational level decisions.
    Identifies and handles risks, anticipates issues and tracks key actions throughout the program life cycle
    Have in depth understanding of the product vision, value proposition and roadmap, key results and interdependencies

    Leverage past operational, enablement and customer experience to solve problems, fill gaps and achieve objectives through a cross functional team.

    Responsible for effective communication and issue resolution while ensuring timely decisions are being made.
    Scopes business problems and processes by identifying key issues, inputs, team members, and outcomes.
    Continue to improve the product go to market framework by helping to update or create new processes or templates

    The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations in the United States (US) are listed below.

    Workday pay ranges vary based on work location.

    As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants.
