    The Maintenance Worker installs, maintains and repairsthe facility's building structures and systems, including plumbing,electrical wiring and fixtures, machinery, equipment, electronics,vehicles andgrounds.

    Maintain/repair physicalstructure of facility in keeping with safe/secure operations of thefacility.
  • Inspect, diagnose, and repair machines andequipment.
  • Install/repair electrical apparatus such as wiring orelectronic components ofmachinery/equipment.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on equipment accordingto the preventative maintenance plan.
  • Provide proper supervision and tracking ofinmates/residents assigned to Maintenance Department.
  • Qualifications:

    High School diploma, GEDcertification or equivalent isrequired.Two years of experience ingeneral maintenance or construction isrequired.Additional equivalenttechnical/trade school courses in a maintenance or constructionrelated field may be substituted for the required experience on ayear-for-year basis.Knowledge of buildingconstruction and the operation of building systems ispreferred.A valid driver'slicense is required.Minimum age requirement:Must be at least 21 years of age.CoreCivic is aDrug-Free Workplace & EOE includingDisability/Veteran.
