We are currently looking for experienced:

REGISTERED NURSES (RN LICENSE REQUIRED)

Full Time, Nights

Job Description:

Ensure quality nursing care for patients following physician's orders, state and federal regulations, and Facility's policies and procedures.
Administer all medications as prescribed by MD following Facility protocols.
Lead, guide, and supervise nursing assistants and orderlies.
Assist physicians during rounds when necessary.
Remain with and attend to patients during rounds, exams, and treatments as needed.
Perform scheduled treatments during shift and maintain infection control measures.
Adhere to regulations regarding cleanliness, infection control, and Precautions.
Assist with nursing care quality research as assigned.
Handle records, orders, and new admissions assessment.
Schedule patients' annual physicals and ensure timely completion of physicals and related documentation.

Job Requirements:

Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing as a Registered Nurse.
Hold a valid license from North Carolina Board of Nursing and renew every other year.
Deliver quality nursing care, adhere to doctor's orders, and have a genuine interest in geriatric nursing.
Maintain annual CPR certification.
Participate in in-service training and staff meetings as needed.
Supervise nursing assistants to ensure timely completion of tasks.
Demonstrate dependability, flexibility, and effective teamwork with nursing personnel and other departments.
Make sound decisions regarding nursing issues, understanding the impact on patients.
