Adjunct Mathematics Faculty

The Adjunct Faculty member is a crucial part of our academic community, reporting to the campus Dean of Academic Affairs. The primary role is to provide college-level instruction and support student success.

Essential Functions/Duties:

• Teach courses in accordance with college policies and procedures.
• Prepare timely grade reports and other required documents.
• Create engaging class activities and assignments aligned with course learning outcomes.

Typical Qualifications:

• Mastery of subject area(s) for instruction.
• Knowledge of effective communication, teaching strategies, and community college student characteristics.
  
  A thorough understanding of curriculum development principles.
  
  This position requires reliable transportation for travel between campuses as it is located on-campus at Winter Haven Campus. Weekend or evening work may be necessary; however remote/hybrid options are not available.
