    About The Role

    The Channel Sales Principal is a field sales role that is part of the Global Channel Sales organization. This person will work closely with Global System Integrators, and Managed Service Providers, negotiating new partnerships, building focus partner growth plans, training partner sales reps, and supporting large pursuits alongside our commercial and public sector sales teams.

    The Channel Sales Principal is a remote based role, but will travel approximately 25% of the time to U.S. and Canada partner locations to do live training, strategy sessions, and support the development of potential new partnerships.

    This role will closely align with our Sales Engineering team to achieve key objectives including: number of partner resources trained to sell and demo SandboxAQ solutions, joint growth plans with focus partners, and qualified pipeline created with partners.

    Required Qualifications

    • Past experience working in a Tier 1 Global System Integrator cybersecurity or cloud organization
    • Strong GSI leadership relationships at Partner / Senior Managing Director + level.
    • 8-10 years experience selling with and through channel partners
    • 8-10 years carrying a sales quota at a technology company
    • Understanding of how partners vet new technology vendors and build joint offerings
    • Strong executive communication and contract negotiation skills
    • Strong verbal and written communications skills. Ability to deliver a sales pitch in front of a large audience.
    • Ability to build a partner commercial model inclusive of discounts, rebates, and other commercial incentives

    Preferred Qualifications

    • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience.
    • Experience selling to commercial and public sector customers
    • Experience building partnerships in commercial and public sector
