- Administers professional continuing education (PCE) courses.
- Develop, maintain, and teach course material in a dynamic curriculum related to cyberspace operations and Joint planning, to include USAF weapon systems.
- This involves coordinating course offerings at various locations; documenting courses in accordance with Air Force, AFIT, AU and AETC policies; and conducting post-offering assessments.
- Perform security duties as needed, to include physical security and escort of students as required.
- The individual will be required to interact with various course sponsors to interpret education needs to develop (working with USAF Instructional System Designers) and instruct cyber education content.
- Instruct in various settings to include traditional classroom settings and distance learning and will be required to travel to different sites to instruct.
- Participate in consultation efforts, and attend or participate in workshops, conferences, technical interchanges or similar venues as approved by the Government on a case-by-case basis.
- Assists faculty and staff with graduate-level research, including literature reviews, data collection, technical writing, instruction, and other duties as required
- Bachelor's Degree Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field and ten (10) years relevant work experience
- Ability to perform effective oral and written communication to students in a classroom, teaching environment
- Previous experience in cyber operations or related field.
- May be required to lift 15 lbs.
- May be required to stand and walk two (2) hours a day
- Some travel may be required
