    Description

    Job Title: Respiratory Therapist

    The Cook Children's Health Care System seeks a skilled Respiratory Therapist to deliver high-quality patient care on our third shift.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Deliver competent and skilled care to patients and families according to their identified needs.
    • Care for patients in various stages of respiratory disease, including those requiring mechanical ventilation and life support.
    • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, taking into consideration evidenced-based practice guidelines.
    • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient assessments, treatments, and outcomes.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field from an accredited program.
    • Current licensure to practice in the State of Texas.
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
    • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification within the first 6 months of employment.
    • Previous experience preferred but not required.
