    Description

    The Warehouse Associate supports the Inventory Coordinator and the Assistant Inventory Coordinator in day-to-day inventory and warehouse operations, ensuring compliance with standard operating procedures and safety guidelines. Responsibilities include, but not limited to, unloading trucks, moving materials within the facility, stocking inventory, rotating stock, and ensuring warehouse cleanliness. The ability to work as part of a team focused on operational efficiency and customer service is at the forefront of this role.

    Primary Responsibilities

    • Sort and move merchandise to the correct location in the warehouse for storage using a pushcart, pallet jack, or other freight moving equipment; Ensure freight handling equipment is used in a safe and correct manner.
    • Comply with health and safety standards for the warehouse and with all associated company, local, state, and federal guidelines
    • Assist maintenance techs with locating merchandise and signing out parts following company SOPs.
    • Pull orders as directed by the Inventory Coordinator or Assistant Inventory Coordinator.
    • Perform inventory counting to help maintain proper inventory management.
    • Sweep and clean warehouse floors keeping walkways clean and free of content and debris to ensure a safe worksite; Remove trash, maintain cleanliness of warehouse areas and overall facility appearance.
    • Participate in safety meetings and other training as required by the company safety program.
    • Report safety hazards, injuries, unusual activity or any item of note to immediate supervisor.
    • Assist in bulk trash collection functions including sorting of materials to comply with installation recycling requirements and hazardous material disposal programs.
    • Assist with the logistics of the transfer of reusable/recyclable equipment and materials.
    • Demonstrate initiative and take accountability for the quality and quantity of work performed.
    • Other duties as assigned.
    Minimum Requirements
    • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
    • 2+ years experience in a facility or warehouse environment.
    • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English as to follow oral and written instructions, maintain records, document activities, and communicate with colleagues and residents.
    • Ability to follow established processes and procedures.
    • Ability to manage and prioritize tasks with minimal supervision and ensure that daily operations are completed in a timely manner. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy is required.
    • Customer-focused with the ability to interact with others in a professional and courteous manner. This includes, but not limited to, maintenance teams and residents utilizing the self-help desk.
    • Ability to use a pallet jack, dolly or other freight moving equipment to move freight. Some locations may require forklift certification Corvias will provide certification training if required.
    • Ability to work collaboratively, take direction, and assist others performing higher level warehouse/inventory duties.
    • Valid Drivers license required with the ability to operate company vehicle.
    • Ability to work irregular hours; Regular schedule to be determined.
