    Overall Position Purpose:

    This position is primarily responsible for acquiring, installing, configuring, and maintaining infrastructure devices to ensure that performance and reliability meets and exceeds the requirements of the business.

    This position is responsible for configuration, operation, security, and administration of wired and wireless networks, cloud provider infrastructure, the telephone system, security and access control, disaster recovery, and productivity applications, while ensuring cyber-security best practices are met.

    The incumbent is responsible for monitoring and responding to network and system alerts. The IT Senior Systems Administrator will promote and support the Inteleos culture of inclusivity.

    Core ResponsibilitiesMonitor emerging technology developments and identify innovations with potential high payoffs for infrastructure systems, while making recommendations for new/altered technologies that would contribute to system cost saving and/or productivity improvements;Ensure the smooth operation of all personal computing devices and meeting room devices, including the software and systems they connect to and the infrastructure that supports them, including but not limited to servers, personal computers (PCs), software as a service (SaaS) platforms, tablet computers, wiredwireless network, security and access control, email, printers, and copiers/scanners;Provide technical support/guidance for wired and wireless networks to users, and serves as the IT Liaison to other departments;Ensure successful backups of servers and Structured Query Language (SQL) databases and quarterly testing;Respond to escalated help desk requests according to IT procedures and service level agreements, coordinating activities with contractors, consultants, and vendors as required;Perform assigned duties as a member of the Inteleos Incident Response team in the event of a security breach;Ensure data/system security by protecting infrastructure from unauthorized access, use, or interruption while maintaining systems hardware, software, and data integrity, and ensuring data/system security is in compliance with industry standards;Provide weekly reports, updates, and maintain software and hardware inventory, including coordination of software license agreements;Create, maintain and improve IT policies and procedures as required by American National Standards Institute (ANSI) for organizational accreditation, and assist in the creation and implementation of a Business Continuity Plan;Work closely with the help desk, business intelligence, project management, and development teams to complete tasks, project planning and project implementation;Support after hours of systems and facilities;Other duties as assigned.

    Work EnvironmentThe incumbent will work primarily at a desk in an office environment. Some evening/weekend work will be required. Some travel may be required. The incumbent will respond to system and facility alerts 24/7/365. There are minimal requirements to lift or move equipment.
    RequirementsRequired Education/ExperienceBachelor's Degree, Certification or equivalent in Computer Science (CS), Management Information System (MIS), or a related field;Minimum three years' experience with wired and wireless networks, administering Microsoft Windows systems, and maintaining Microsoft Active Directory;Computing Technology Industry Association (CompTIA) certification (A+ / Network+ / Security+);Microsoft certification
    • Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA), Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA), and/or Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE); andAmazon Web Services (AWS) Certification (Foundational or Associate).
    Required Qualifications/ SkillsDemonstrable diagnostic skill in solving operational and performance problems related to serveretworklaptopdesktop components.

    This includes personal computerserver operating systems, and networking hardware and software;Demonstrated knowledge of maintaining, managing, and configuring FortiGate, Cisco, Cisco Meraki, and Dell infrastructure;Demonstrated ability to serve as support and maintain SaaS platforms such as, but not limited to, Miro, Box, Microsoft 365, Asana;Deep knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, Azure, and Microsoft Exchange;Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Windows 365, Server 2012, and Microsoft Office365;Deep knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS);Deep knowledge of Vmware;Knowledge of remote endpoint management (Intune,Automox), mobile device management, VPN, and modern EDR such as Crowdstrike;.Demonstrated knowledge of deploying and maintaining Multi-factor Authentication (MFA);Ability to work collaboratively on a team and contribute to the team's success;Demonstrated organizational skill, with the ability to work on multiple projects and tasks;Ability to focus on the important parts of a project or task regardless of current workload;Demonstrated ability to interact effectively, efficiently, and professionally with individuals at all levels of the organization;Understanding who the customer is, and providing superior service to every customer;Ability to maintain positive attitude under stressful conditions; andExcellent communication skills, written and oral;Familiarity with Linux;Familiarity with MS Customer Relationship Management (CRM); andExperience with help request/service request/change request systems such as JIRA.Mentors team members and educates users.
