Looking for a company that treats associates with respect,

This position currently has no supervisory responsibilities.
To perform this job successfully,the associate must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily with or without an accommodation.}

Responsibilities

    Sets up displays and rotates product as needed.Ensures that meat is fresh,in saleable condition with proper prices and signage.Handles product that is spoiled,damaged or close to expiration as detailed by company procedures and standards.Removes product that is not saleable to ensure quality.May grindand cut certain meatsand poultry.Weighsand wraps merchandise at customer request;applies sticker showing correct priceand weight.Maintains necessary logs to track freshnessand quality.Adheres t all foodand personal safety codes when handlingproductor utilizing kitchen tools.Responsible for general sanitation in the department.Follows cleaning schedules andredepartment guidelines tot ensure that work areas,equipment,counters,display cases etc.are well maintained,cleanmeets all health OSHA requirements.Disposesof trash properly.Empties bone cans.Assistsin minimizing shrinkcontroldamages.Reports shortagesor overages tomanger.Mayar assistwith receiving unloading checking-in breaking-down,storing deliveries through operation of power jack or hand jack if properly trained.Training provided.Mayassistwith balingcardboard or other relateddutiesif properlytrained.Trainingprovided.Essure smoothfunction of departmentstoreby cooperatingwith co-workersandsuperiors.Responsibleto continuously improve job performance..Eursesutilizationofallcompanysupported Personal Protected Equipment (PPE).Including butnot limitedtocutresistantgloves,safetycutters companysponsoredfootwear etc..May alsobe calledupon assistin otherdepartments..
