    R&D Analytics Engineer

    Work Location

    Location: Jersey City, NJ

    Job Description:


    • Design and connect complex data structures for end user consumption.


    • Scientific programming and database administration.


    • Create, maintain, automate, and optimize data pipeline architectures and applications.


    • Application development, deployment, and administration.


    • Participate in cross-functional teams researching emerging digital technologies.


    • Prototype novel technical solutions aimed at improving the efficiency of R&D.

    Required Experience:


    • Proficient in data science programming languages (Python, R, Spark)


    • Proficient in SQL programming and database development (SQL, Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL)


    • Familiar with REST framework and creating APIs.


    • Familiar with version control methodologies (Git/Gitlab)


    • Scientific programming experience in life sciences or engineering.


    • Ability to partner with scientists to identify and deliver scientific informatics solutions.

    Preferred Experience:


    • Experience in the flavor, fragrance, food, consumer products, or pharmaceutical industry.


    • Proficient with visual analytic software (Power BI, Tableau, Spotfire)


    • Familiarity with AWS cloud services (Lambda, Glue, Athena)


    • Life Science application development experience (KNIME, Pipeline Pilot)


    • Proficient in application containerization (Docker)


    • Web application development experience (Django, Flask, React)
