    Job Description


    American Traveler is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN with previous travel and Level 1 trauma experience for a day shift hospital role requiring strong OR skills.

    Responsibilities

    • Work in the Operating Room unit of a Level 1 trauma hospital
    • Day shifts from 6:45 am to 7:15 pm, 12-hour shifts, three shifts per week
    • No block scheduling allowed
    • Burn experience is preferred
    • No on-call requirements
    • Must demonstrate a high rating on the skills checklist
    • Holiday and weekend coverage may be required
    • Employment gaps on the resume should be explained
    • EMR experience must be listed on the resume

    Requirements

    • Active GA or compact RN license required
    • Previous travel nursing experience required
    • Level 1 trauma Operating Room experience required
    • Strong OR skills required
    • Burn patient experience is preferred
    • Recent two references from supervisors or managers with similar experience required
    • Current certifications and verification of active licensure required
    • Up-to-date resume including facility names, units worked, and dates employed
