- Supervise and coordinate assembly line operations to ensure timely production of high-quality products.
- Oversee the scheduling of production tasks and allocate resources effectively to meet production targets.
- Train, mentor, and provide guidance to assembly line workers to enhance their skills and performance.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with safety procedures and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
- Implement and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for assembly processes to optimize efficiency and quality.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and machinery to ensure proper functioning and address any maintenance issues promptly.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as production planning and quality control, to streamline workflows and resolve any production-related issues.
- Analyze production data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement among assembly line staff.
- Prepare and submit reports on production performance, including output, efficiency, and quality metrics, to management.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing or assembly environment.
- Strong leadership abilities with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve production goals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with employees at all levels.
- In-depth knowledge of assembly processes, equipment, and machinery.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with production management software is a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on process improvement.
- Understanding of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Certification in occupational health and safety is desirable.
