    **Description**

    The General Manager is responsible for delivering measurable results that achieve or exceed company objectives with respect to incremental, profitable, organic top line growth. The GM will have full P&L responsibility for the respective operation, while also overseeing the development, implementation and execution of strategic/tactical objectives in support of company initiatives.

    This role is based in Frederick, CO and will have responsibility for TSN West in Colorado and TSN East in Indiana.

    **REPONSIBILITIES**

    Responsible for the oversight of Sales, Purchasing, Accounting, Customer Service, and Distribution/Logistics.

    Evaluate existing strategic and long-term plans to ensure growth with profitability and adjust, as necessary.

    In collaboration with the leadership team, develop and implement compelling and cohesive sales, marketing, and go-to-market strategies and drive organic revenue growth objectives.

    Provide ongoing strategic guidance on customer segmentation, coverage models, sales methodologies, and sales process.

    Share market intelligence, strategy, and tactics with the TSN leadership team proactively.

    Work with SVP to determine annual budget related to industry events/sponsorships/exhibits.

    Support on demand reporting of all sales operations and sales pipeline activities

    Provide ultimate oversight and enforcement of contract terms with respect to A/R and slow moving / non-moving items.

    Identify opportunities to increase sales of products and services that meet identified challenges or market needs. Utilize market research to identify sales opportunities that assure market performance and penetration in support of business initiatives.

    Build strong relationships with elite prospects that generate sales, guide problem resolution discussions and ultimately lasting partnerships.

    Provide proactive support to colleagues in leadership roles within Sourcing and Procurement, Finance, Warehouse Operations, etc.

    **MEASUREMENT OF SUCCESS**

    Lead the sales efforts for TSN for a minimum of two years working with the incumbent SVP.

    Learn the overall TSN business from a financial, operations and purchasing perspective to verify future growth potential.

    Meet or exceed annual goals with respect to profitable organic growth.

    Meet or exceed goals with respect to expansion of target audiences and prospects.

    All members of TSN Leadership team have an accurate understanding of the Sales and Marketing strategy

    **IDEAL CANDIDATE**

    Advanced understanding of strategic sales and what is required to successfully sell C-store solutions.

    Analytical thinker with the ability to clearly articulate a value proposition that resonates with a prospect organization and its buyers.

    Strong sense of urgency, with the drive and knowledge to navigate multi-level relationships with complex customers.

    High level of emotional intelligence, perceptive, proven ability to develop relationships that withstand objections and unexpected changes in client strategy.

    Maturity and perseverance to navigate complex sales scenarios and timelines.

    Deep understanding of needs based selling strategies and ability to uncover underlying customer objections and concerns.

    Proven track record of closed sales.

    Ability to think strategically and create strategic plans unique to a prospect given their situation in the marketplace and business issues.

    Thorough understanding of the consultative, customer-focused approach to the sales process.

    **REQUIREMENTS**

    Bachelors Degree is Sales or related field required.

    MBA preferred.

    Minimum of 10+ years experience in a leadership role related to sales and large account management required.

    Prior experience with Convenience Store Industry preferred

    Successful track-record of organic growth through a combination of the following: development of both new and existing clients in existing markets, extension into new verticals, launch of new offerings, and cross-selling products/services.

    Excellent relationship building skills.

    Strong leadership and negotiation skills

    Exceptional oral & written communication skill, articulate and polished presentation and executive demeanor.

    Strong analytical skills

    Desire to make profound impact on company's growth trajectory.

    Knowledge of Business Intelligence and IBM systems helpful.

    Ability to travel (25-30%)

    **COMPENSATION**

    $150,000+
