    Description
    ~ Call coverage needed, ongoing as soon as credentialed.
    ~ No specific dates are provided until provider has accepted an offer.
    ~ Friday, Saturday, Sunday, some vacation week day call coverage 5p-6a
    ~ Hospital based
    ~100% Adult
    ~10-15 hospital based patients on average per day
    ~


    PPD:
    1-2 Admissions, 8-10 ICU, 1-2 Surgeries
    ~400 Total number of beds
    ~12 ICU Beds
    ~2 Physicians in practice, 5 Mid-levels
    ~ Reason for coverage:
    change in staffing, looking to backfill
    ~ Level 1 trauma
    ~


    EMR:
    Epic
    ~2 Physicians needed
    ~ Required to supervise and provide clinical oversight as appropriate while on call.
    ~ No other thoracic surgeons will be present during locum call coverage.
    ~90 day credentialing timeframe


    Required Procedures:
    General CV/Thoracic Surgery - open
    Coronary artery bypass surgery - on pump & Off-pump
    Congenital defects (ASD
    Valvular Repair & replacement
    Aneurysm Repair - Cardiac & Aorto-thoracic
    ECMO Cannulation and Patient stabilization for transport to academic center in Denver.


    Preferred Procedures:
    Evaluation and management of acute vol /BP issues
    Insertion of Central Line, Arterial Line, PA catheter, IABP

    SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS
    Board Certified Cardiovascular Surgery (ABMS/AOA) - Required
    Active Colorado License or active IMLC - Required
    Active BLS,
    ACLS- Required
    Must note provider is able to perform all required procedures - REQUIRED
    Clean background/no malpractice - Required
    COVID vaccinated - Required, note at time of name clear
