    Responsibilities/Duties

    • Responsible for communication with customers during the various stages of the loan process.
    • Responsible for communication with customers after loan closing including working collateral exceptions and line credit exceptions.
    • Responsible for reviewing loan application and ensuring that loan has proper approval and information to process.
    • Responsible for preparation of loan documents. This requires an understanding of the loan processing system and basic legal principals.
    • Responsible for preparation of loan disbursement information and obtaining appropriate approval for loan funding.
    • Responsible for typing, loading and funding both Non-Real Estate loans and Real Estate loans.
    • Responsible for booking the loan on the CORE system.
    • Works with lending staff in order to ensure that compliance with laws and regulations are met.
    • Assists in loan operations as needed in other areas which may include file maintenance, research, review of data input etc.
    • Any other duties as designated by management with or without reasonable accommodation.
    • Responsible for typing mortgage modifications when applicable on renewal/extension RE loans.
    • Responsible for sending out all early disclosures and closing disclosures associated with real estate loans as applicable to the loan.
    • May act as closer on loans when Title Company is not handling the closing.
    • Secondary market loans - document preparation as needed, making initial tickets for loan disbursements, closing costs, bank income and loading on CORE system.
    • Responsible for ordering coupon books and balancing.
    • Responsible for maintaining the loan and credit files as stated in loan procedures.
    • Processes payoffs.
    • Handles customer inquiries & payoff quotes.

    Required Skills

    • Proficiency in understanding loan documentation.
    • Proficiency and understanding of the loan processing software and CORE system.
    • Proficiency in Word and Excel.
    • Ability to work well with internal personnel and external customers.
    • Ability to represent the bank in a professional manner.
    • Strong organizational skills.
    • Ability to self motivate and manage time.
    • Ability to work with details.
    • Ability to work under pressure in order to meet deadlines.

    Required Education

    • High school graduate. Some college or post high-school education preferred.
