      US West Retail CM Lead:Wells Fargo's corporate real estate function is seeking a seasoned construction management professional to lead the delivery of our US West Retail construction program.
    This role will manage more than $100 million in active spend on new construction, denovo, renovation and consolidation projects. The US West Retail Construction Management Lead will report to the Global Head of Design and Construction in the Corporate Properties Group, and will have responsibility for more than 10 construction management professionals delivering projects across 2,300 branches and 12M square feet of world-class retail space. A dynamic leader with a deep understanding of construction management and a proven track record of delivering large capital programs in a complex environment is essential for this role. This position will be based in San Francisco, Phoenix, Denver or Dallas.

    In this role, you will:


    Manage and develop multiple teams of managers and professional individual contributors with focus on delivering services of moderate to high complexity and risk for cross-functional stakeholders and internal partners Identify opportunities and strategies for process improvement, including risk control development for the achievement of construction projects and objectives Manage large complex construction projects and provide budget and financial aspects of the business to meet overall goals Lead team by making strategic decisions to efficiently resolve highly complex issues to provide quality risk deliverables Interpret and develop range of policies, procedures, product, and service standards for business functions with moderate to high complexity and risk Collaborate with and influence all levels of professionals, including more experienced management, on strategy, operations management, and on building organizational effectiveness as well as performance Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Construction Management Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategyPrimary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
    Oversight and successful delivery of the firm's capital program across the Northeast administrative (non-retail) portfolio Working with the Global Head of Construction to support the development, planning and execution of sound strategies, goals and business initiatives to adapt to rapidly changing market driven environments Development, planning, and execution of construction initiatives that drive business results within a complex platform Providing inspirational leadership and direction to staff and hiring, developing and retaining a diverse and exceptional team Driving the implementation of strategy across functional areas to ensure operational excellence and process efficiency Driving timeliness and cost adherence of projects Ensuring a strong control environment is in place to manage operational, third-party, compliance and reputational risk in both ongoing work as well as new projects Promoting collaboration with internal partners Leading in sustainable design and construction*Required Qualifications, US:
    8+ years of Construction Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education* 4+ years of management experience****Desired Qualifications:
    Senior construction management professional with experience in development, core and shell and interior fit-out
    • Experience managing programs or projects worth more than $50mm
    • Ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear manner
    • Ability to clearly express ideas and proposed solutions
    • Ability to communicate effectively, in both written and verbal formats, with senior executive-level leaders
    • Ability to negotiate, influence, and collaborate to build successful relationships
    • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important
    • Budget creation and management experience
    • Excellent Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project) skills
    • Experience with commercial real estate leases.
    • Experience with strategic planning in a CRE environment
    • Good attention to detail and accuracy skills
    • Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design Accredited Professional (LEED AP)
    • Outstanding problem solving and decision making skills
    • Thorough knowledge and experience with project scheduling using MS Project, or similar system
    • Experience with ground up buildouts and/or remodels, office tower upfits, and move/add/change type work.
    • Possess an understanding of construction/project management methodology and construction techniques.
    • Experienced with contracting, bidding processes, budgeting, and scheduling.Job Expectations:
