Job summary
The Assistant Director Educational Services plays an integral role in designing, developing, implementing and interpreting departmental programs including school tours exhibition related family programming art camp and outreach programs.Responsible for planning organizing and managing day to day operations of various programs and services including tours Voice of the People Kid's Art Lab Made at MOCA Teen Council and Autism Creates.Work with various constituents to ensure goals expectations are achieved.
Develop curriculum activities for college level adult school tours including special needs populations Provide classroom management quality control.Increase year-over-year revenue for earned revenue programming - tours art camp.Serve as liaison Education Committee collaborate committee members next steps priority initiatives committee.Document analyze program activities accomplishments statistics.Cultivate community collaborations relationships support Education initiatives.Serve liaison special guests arranging travel organizing visits.Manage project budgets.Assist preparation delivery workshops training programs.Attend assist museum events needed.Perform administrative functions contracts bus expense forms purchase orders inventory etc.Train supervise staff students volunteers assigned.May represent Director Education absence.During declared campus emergencies position required perform specific job duties designated off campus location place residence.Manage tour registration scheduling payment processes individual schools Duval County Public Schools.Develop evaluate MOCA tour program utilizing Museum collections exhibitions support national education standards audiences ages.Market develop cultivate group tours adults.Actively participate tour leader student adult tours.Effectively assess evaluate tour programs seeking ongoing improvement.Supervise manage Winter Spring Summer camps.
