Physical Therapy Assistant - Neptune, NJ - 13 Weeks Contract Sigma Healthcare staffing is currently looking for a PTA who will provide Physical Therapy and related services for patients under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist (PT) while maintaining positive levels of interaction with facilities and clients in accordance with the principles and practices of physical therapy

Shift :

Mon-Fri, DaysEssential Duties and Responsibilities: Under the direction of the licensed physical therapist, optimize the functional abilities and skills of patients in facilities by assisting in screening and providing input to initial evaluation of all patients as appropriate, and implementing treatment for all assigned patients Deliver quality physical therapy services according to treatment plans for patients Document progress toward identified objectives Provide accurate and timely documentation for current patient caseload and oversee compliance of department.

Participate in a positive work environment to promote teamwork and communication Conduct patient and family education Display strong skills in flexibility, time management, and communication Requirements:

Degree from an accredited school approved by CAPTE Current state licensure or eligibility in Physical Therapy in NJ Basic Life Support through the American Heart Association New Grad are okay.

SNF Experience preferred Covid test 72 hours prior to start date with results issued 48 hours prior to start date
