Job Summary and Qualifications
The Mental Health Technician (MHT) delivers high quality, patient-centered care by performing a variety of delegated basic patient care services related to behavioral health nursing functions and activities of daily living. Under the supervision of the registered nurse (RN), the MHT assists the nursing staff in providing patient care in accordance with the MHT's skills/training and the needs of the Department, and consistently assists the patient care team with maintaining a clean, well-organized, and safe patient care environment. The MHT complies with all hospital policies/procedures and observes the State Board of Nursing rules for unlicensed personnel.

At Skyline Madison Campus inpatient behavioral health facility, we provide behavioral health services to the greater Nashville area. Our psychiatrists, therapists, and nurses are dedicated to improving the lives of our patients. The 120 bed facility offers comprehensive treatment programs. These are designed for personalized care. They offer a variety of options including inpatient, partial hospitalization and outpatient care. Our behavioral health navigator works with patients and their loved ones to find the right plan.
