    Purpose:


    The primary responsibility of this role is to have sound authority over the processes, systems, and data from a technical standpoint, around LNG, Gas & Power ETRM Portfolios.

    The Developer will work alongside Project Managers, BAs, testers & Business Users (where applicable) to provide IT solutions and support to meet their business needs.


    Accountabilities:

    • Support Endur & its associate interfaces in the landscape from a Technical standpoint.
    • As an Endur Developer the resource will work on project & / or BAU. This would include Requirement Analysis, Solution Design & Implementation, Unit Testing, liaising with BA / relevant stakeholders for UAT sign off & coordinating Production deployment & Post PROD deployment support.
    • Participate in design & architectural discussion, decisions & implementations.
    • Develops for new enhancements, projects, and performs or facilitates change management communication to the user community on future IT solution changes.
    • Lead development teams actively / passively to ensure quality & timely delivery as per Business requirements.
    • Liaising with a diverse set of business and IT stakeholders
    • Champion global streamlined enterprise business processes and information standardization, as well as all IT procedure and policies

    Key Activities:

    • Develop as per the coding standards as defined by Shell
    • Participate in project activities as funded.
    • Serve as Technical Expert & Lead in Openlink Endur solution.
    • Excellent adherence to the software development principles.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding, rapidly changing environment
    • Strong engagement skills, working with senior leaders on regular basis
    • Need for strong team-working skills in a virtual environment; willingness to travel periodically
    • Ability to effectively engage a virtual team of leaders located in different geographies
    • Ability to respond to organizational and environmental changes that impact projects.
    • Ability to self-start and direct efforts based on high-level business objectives yet seek guidance as necessary.

    Skills & Requirement:

    • Have 15+ years of work experience in Endur projects with end-to-end trade lifecycle process.
    • Have sound understanding of the energy/commodity trading business - Oil, Gas, Power, LNG or any other Commodities.
    • Should have sound knowledge on various Managers, Configurations, Deal setup, Connex framework, Reporting.
    • Ability to take a systematic and analytical approach to problem solving and pay close attention to detail.
    • Experienced in communicating and partnering with stakeholders across cultures and at all organizations, singly and in groups
    • Experience with Agile Development technique is mandatory
    • Have a comprehensive understanding of business process improvement, benefit and risk management, and software development and lifecycle.
    • Ability to mentor junior members in the team to build a strong capability center for good quality & timely delivery.
    • Ability to lead delivery of natural team to ensure quality delivery within expected timelines
