    Position: Registered Nurse - Cardiovascular Recovery Unit (CVRU)

    Schedule: Full Time, 36 Hours/Week - Days

At Saint Luke's East Hospital, we are seeking a passionate Registered Nurse to join our dynamic Cardiovascular Recovery Unit. Here, your expertise and clinical judgment will shine as you provide high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing complex cardiovascular and interventional procedures.

    Your Role and Responsibilities


    As a vital member of our multidisciplinary healthcare team, you will:

    • Deliver exceptional nursing care to patients with a range of conditions, including:
      • Percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI)
      • Pacemaker placement
      • Peripheral vascular procedures
      • Interventional radiology (IR) procedures
      • Respiratory failure
      • DKA/insulin drips
      • Post-STEMI recovery
      • Other acute and complex cardiac and critical care diagnoses
    • Function independently while utilizing the nursing process to coordinate care for your patients.
    • Delegate tasks appropriately and identify hospital resources to enhance patient care.
    • Serve as a clinical resource for new employees and demonstrate leadership within the unit.

    What We're Looking For


    Qualifications:

    • Less than 1 year of applicable experience
    • Current certifications in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association or Red Cross
    • Registered Nurse license
    • Associate Degree in Nursing
