- Prepare periodic general journal entries and account reconciliations to ensure an accurate and timely financial close.
- Communicate effectively and escalate issues to appropriate Accounting leaders promptly.
- Collaborate closely with the Accounting Team and report directly to the Accounting Manager.
- Review leases, enter lease information into software systems, and ensure proper accounting for lease agreements.
- Assist with special projects, including system enhancements and establishing new account reconciliations.
- Support annual audits by gathering necessary documentation and preparing audit schedules.
- Identify process improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
- Maintain compliance with GAAP.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, including cost of sales, lease accounting, prepaids, and liabilities.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
- Exceptional relationship-building and communication abilities.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Active CPA license required.
- 3-7 years of accounting experience in public or private companies.
- 1-2 years of public accounting experience preferred.
