    Description


    TEAM Vocational Services' mission is to provide a supportive, positive and nurturing work environment so that Vocational Rehabilitation Counselors (VRCs) can do their best work, without distractions.

    Our VRCs provide services to clients throughout Washington who have sustained work-related injuries and/or occupational diseases.

    Job responsibilities include:
    Meeting with individuals who have sustained a work-related injury or occupational disease, their employers, medical providers, and legal representatives in the course of examining the employability of the individual,
    Assisting workers with return-to-work planning and the identification of resources in the community for job-placement assistance,
    At times, the VRC will assist the worker with securing retraining benefits, and

    Monitoring a workers participation and progress in retraining.


    Job requirements include:
    BA/BS degree required
    CDMS or CRC credential, with 3+ years experience as a VRC working with LNI required
    Keyboarding skills and Microsoft Word experience
    Ability to acquire an LNI provider number
    Ability to meet deadlines
    Excellent writing and communication skills
    Access to reliable transportation for work-related travel

    Must reside in WA State, or within a reasonable commuting distance


    Preferred:
    MA/MS degree
    Bilingual

    Experience handling Social Security, LTD, OWCP, and DBA claims

    Compensation / Salary:
    $30.00 to $55.00 per billable hour is the estimated range. Various factors impact compensation such as (and not limited to) education, credentials, and years of experience.
