Job summary
The primary role of the Manufacturing Mechanical Engineer is to participate within an Engineering team to develop and launch processes that meet all objectives for safety quality delivery and cost for both new model NM non-new model NNM and adaptation programs.
Responsibilities
- Perform assessments for process changes and related investment requirements for cost studies
- Understand engineering scope definition Requests for Quotes RFQ's sourcing technical evaluations design manufacturing and installation of air/mist/coolant collectors and filtration
- Developing and supporting maintaining PFMEA & MFMEA Process/Machine Failure Mode and Effects Analysis
- Support prioritize the Non-New Model NNM powertrain programs requests ensure that approved programs are completed on time within budget
- Support all New Model NM program's facilities aspects including site preparation machine installation/li>Support flow activities on programs ensuring successful implementation tracking of the Iron Triangle Scope Timing Cost/li>Participate in the implementation of Stellantis Production Way SPW methodology supporting all activities including deployment of advanced SPW tools guide systematic root cause problem solving methods to attack risksDevelopment/improvement of process equipment standards related to facilities infrastructure.
