    Job Description:
    We are looking for a Welder who can perform welding tasks as well as general shop hand responsibilities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for welding, cutting, and fabricating metal parts and structures according to specified blueprints. The candidate will be asked to perform a weld test at the Rolfson Compression shop prior to a final offer of employment.
    Key Responsibilities:
    • Perform welding tasks using various welding methods
    • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine welding requirements.
    • Operating shop machinery, such as saws, drills, lathes, and forklifts, as needed. (Training will be provided if needed)
    • Performing general tasks, such as the lifting and carrying of materials
    • Maintaining a clean and organized work environment, including sweeping, mopping, and disposing of waste materials.
    • Performing routine maintenance on machinery and equipment.
    • Following all safety guidelines and wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).

    Qualifications:
    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • Proven experience in welding, with a good understanding of different welding techniques.
    • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
    • Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail.
    • Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and work in various positions, including standing, bending, and kneeling.
    • Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
    • Oilfield experience is a plus
