    RN Position Job Notes:

    Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

    RN - Med Surg Orthopedic

    Job Details:


    • Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM

    • Must be willing to float between all inpatient Med/Tele and Rehab units

    • Patient ratios of 1:5 on days and nights (varies between units, estimated ratios not guaranteed)

    • Required certifications: BLS and ACLS

    • Must have 2 years of strong Tele experience

    • Chemo Certification preferred for potential scheduling on Oncology unit

    • Work with large cardiac population across 2 Tele floors and a PCU

    • Care for patients with varied medical issues both acute and chronic

    • Use Meditech EMR system and various types of equipment

    • Must demonstrate flexibility, willingness to float, teamwork, and compassion

    • Great learning opportunity to expand clinical skills across multiple specialties

    • Perform typical procedures that vary between units

    Facility:

    This healthcare organization operates a 345-bed medical center with Magnet designation, featuring comprehensive inpatient services including medical/surgical, telemetry, PCU, rehabilitation, and oncology units. The facility maintains a family-oriented work environment where staff work collaboratively and support each other. The organization utilizes a float pool of approximately 80 staff members and provides diverse learning opportunities for healthcare professionals to expand their clinical expertise across multiple specialties.
