    Job Title: School Occupational Therapist (OT)

    Location: Dallas, TX and Surrounding Areas

    Job Description: Soliant is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced School Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team in Dallas, TX and surrounding areas for the 2023/2024 school year. As an OT, you will play a critical role in helping students develop and enhance their fine motor skills, sensory processing abilities, and activities of daily living. By providing individual and group therapy services, collaborating with educators and families, and promoting inclusivity, you will contribute to creating an optimal learning environment for students. This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of children and work alongside a supportive team.

    Responsibilities:

    • Conduct prehensive assessments to evaluate students' fine motor skills, sensory processing, and activities of daily living
    • Develop personalized treatment plans to address students' specific occupational therapy goals
    • Provide direct therapy services to students, both individually and in group settings
    • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' occupational therapy needs within the school setting
    • Remend and implement appropriate acmodations and modifications to facilitate students' participation and success in the classroom
    • Monitor students' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation and reports
    • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of students' Individualized Education Programs

    Qualifications:

    • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
    • Valid state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure in Texas
    • Experience working with school-aged children is preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply
    • Strong knowledge of pediatric occupational therapy principles, techniques, and interventions
    • Excellent munication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team
    • Passion for helping children achieve their fullest potential
