Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Project Director to join our team.

This pivotal role will oversee all field operations, manage a diverse team of labor employees and project managers, ensure the highest standards of quality control, effectively address client issues, and manage relationships with subcontractors.

The Construction Project Director will work closely with the Operations Manager of the department, ensuring cohesive and efficient project execution.

This role reports directly to the Operations Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage all aspects of construction projects from conception to completion, including supervising project managers and field staff to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with quality standards.

Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing any concerns or issues promptly and professionally.
Develop and implement rigorous quality control procedures to ensure all work meets or exceeds specifications.

Oversee the entire subcontractor management process, including soliciting bids, qualifying subcontractors, ensuring subcontractor compliance with quality standards, and expanding the company's subcontractor database to ensure a diverse and reliable pool of partners.

Collaborate closely with the Operations Manager and other stakeholders to ensure seamless coordination and execution of projects.
Develop and enforce safety protocols, ensuring a safe work environment for all employees.
Conduct regular site inspections and project reviews to monitor progress and compliance.
Oversee budgeting, scheduling, and other administrative functions related to construction management.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
Minimum of 10 years' experience in construction management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage diverse teams.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to manage subcontractor relationships effectively.
Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale construction projects.
In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, materials, and project management principles, including subcontractor management.
Familiarity with construction software and project management tools.
