    The salary range for the role is $60,000 - $65,000 per year.

    Position Function:

    The Human Resource (HR) Generalist will assist with the daily functions of the Human Resource (HR) department including payroll, talent acquisition, compliance, performance management, benefits, leave, and enforcing company policies and practices. The HR Generalist will undertake a wide range of HR tasks, like organizing trainings, assisting recruitment, managing leaves. The HR Generalist will be the subject matter expert for the Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS), Paylocity and those vendor relations with Guardian, Bswift, and Principal ensuring all employee records are up-to-date and confidential. The HR Generalist will also act as the main point of contact for employees' queries on HR-related topics. The goal is to ensure the HR department's operations runs smoothly and effectively to deliver maximum value to the organization as a whole.

    Primary Roles and Responsibilities Include:
    • Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments. This may include safety training, anti-harassment training, professional licensure, and aptitude exams and certifications.
    • Recruits, interviews, and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborates with the staff recruiter, operations team, and office managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
    • Implements new hire orientation and employee recognition programs.
    • Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
    • Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
    • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
    • Performs other duties as assigned.
    Requirements

    • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
    • Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization's HRIS and talent management systems.
    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
    • At least two (2) years of human resource management experience required; will consider internship experience
    • At least one (1) year of recruitment experience
    • SHRM-CP a plus.
