Overview
Join our dynamic team as an Automotive Technician – Lifted / 4x4 Truck Specialist, where your expertise in high-performance off-road vehicles will drive our success In this role, you'll be at the forefront of customizing, repairing, and maintaining lifted and 4x4 trucks, ensuring they perform at their peak.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair complex automotive systems, including powertrain, transmissions, electrical systems, and diesel engines.
- Perform lift kit installations, suspension modifications, wheel alignments, and custom upgrades for 4x4 trucks.
- Utilize schematics and automotive diagnostics tools to identify issues accurately and efficiently.
- Conduct vehicle maintenance services such as oil changes, brake repairs, and fluid replacements tailored for lifted and off-road vehicles.
- Ensure all repairs meet safety standards and manufacturer specifications while adhering to quality control procedures.
- Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and automotive service equipment to complete repairs with precision.
- Communicate effectively with customers about repair needs, estimated timelines, and maintenance recommendations to enhance customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Proven dealership or service technician experience with a strong background in automotive repair and diagnostics.
- Extensive mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems including powertrain, electrical systems, transmissions, and diesel engines.
- Hands-on experience with ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) technology and vehicle schematics interpretation.
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and automotive diagnostic software.
- Knowledge of wheel alignment procedures and suspension modifications specific to lifted / 4x4 trucks.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to clearly explain technical issues to clients. Preferred qualifications include experience working with GM vehicles or similar brands, auto estimating skills, familiarity with diesel engine repair, welding capabilities, and a strong understanding of automotive electrical systems. A valid driver's license and relevant certifications are highly valued.
