Job summary
We are seeking a Color and Materials Footwear Designer to join our Product design team. The successful candidate will be responsible for building, creating, and curating a footwear materials library from a creative and strategic perspective. They will work closely with the lead for Color and the senior footwear designer to curate the color collection.The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the fashion and technical requirements of our footwear business. They should be able to translate these insights into designs using carefully curated materials and color applications to create high-performing products.
Responsibilities include focusing on our Entire Footwear collection, collaborating with different teams, maintaining project overview, proactively hunting for trends regarding colors, materials finishes innovative technologies in industry gathering insights cross-functional teams support implementation selected material build out materials library collections Alo footwear create new vegan sustainable options
- Supporting on technical solutions within each product family by understanding material DNA complex techniques shoe making.
