    Description


    American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Step-Down position at a Level 1 Trauma facility in Michigan, working nights with Epic EMR preferred.

    Details

    Step-down unit in a Level 1 Trauma hospital setting
    Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
    13-week contract
    Requirements

    Active Michigan RN license required (compact licenses not accepted in MI)
    AHA certifications preferred (e.g., BLS, ACLS)
    Level 1 Trauma setting experience required
    Epic EMR experience preferred
    2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
    Additional Information

    Epic training is provided during orientation for those without prior experience
    Pre-start modules are required and will vary by specialty
    Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travel candidates
    Former core staff members must wait 12 months before returning
    Maximum of 5 days of RTO per assignment; all RTO requests must be submitted at the time of application
    First-time traveler acceptance varies by position

    American Traveler Job ID #P Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined
