The ability to teach other chemistry courses such as organic biochemistry would be ideal A Ph D is preferred but an MS in chemistry is the minimum qualification Also important will be the ability to set up and run ICPMS HPLC and other recently purchased analytical chemistry equipment in a water quality research program including the possibility of mentoring thesis students at graduate level is highly recommended +
