JOB RESPONSIBILITIES-

Registered Nurse - Medical / Surgical

RN - MED/SURG

Full-Time

Registered Nurse candidates for the Medical / Surgical Unit will have the following job responsibilities:

Under general supervision, Med-Surg nurses deliver care to patients utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation, in accordance with established philosophy.
Nurses collaborate with other professional disciplines to ensure effective patient care delivery and achievement of desired patient outcomes.
Nurses effectively interact with patients, significant others, and family, while maintaining the standard of professional nursing.
The nature of the direction and supervision required for this position varies by State and job setting.
Med-Surgery Nurses provide care for primarily adult patients before and after surgical procedures; they also attend to those who are being treated with pharmaceuticals to manage illness.
Due to the broad range of medical conditions Med/Surge Nurses will encounter, they must be well-versed in a large variety of health conditions.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS-

Registered Nurse - Medical / Surgical

RN - MED/SURG

Full-Time

Registered Nurse candidates for the Medical / Surgical Unit must meet the following minimum job qualifications:

Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
Upon hire: California Registered Nurse License
Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale Certificate - NIH Stroke Scale Training Course within 90 days of hire
1 year of Nursing experience.

Compensation: $88,837-141,850/year
