    You will be responsible for converting in-depth shopping and retail environment insights into category, retail and customer strategies and recommendations.

    Also, you will have the responsibility to ensure shopping is integrated into marketing plans and programs as well as supporting the cross-category shopper insights agenda.

    How you will contribute

    Develop and execute comprehensive shopper insights plans specifically designed for the convenience channel, utilizing a combination of quantitative and qualitative research methods to gain a deep understanding of convenience store shoppers' behaviors, preferences, and motivations.

    Analyze internal sales data, POS data, and shopper loyalty program data specific to convenience stores to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for driving sales growth and enhancing customer satisfaction within this unique retail environment.

    Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, category planning, RGM, and marketing to integrate shopper insights into strategic planning, product assortment decisions, pricing strategies, and promotional initiatives tailored for the convenience channel

    Develop actionable recommendations and insights-driven strategies to build out "Perfect Store" - optimizing our must stock list, shelf, and secondary displays to maximize sales and improve the overall shopping experience.

    Apply industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies specifically within the convenience channel to identify best practices and innovative approaches for driving convenience store sales and profitability.

    Present findings, insights, and recommendations specific to the convenience channel to senior management and key stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner, influencing decision-making and driving consensus on strategic initiatives within this segment.

    Conduct market research studies focused on the convenience channel, including surveys, focus groups, and in-store observations, to gather insights on shopper demographics, purchasing habits, and product preferences specific to this segment.

    What you will bring
    Minimum of 5 years of experience in customer and/or consumer insights
    Preference for prior convenience channel experience
    Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation, with experience using tools such as Microsoft Excel or Tableau.
    Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations.

    Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.

    Strategic thinker with a customer-centric mindset and a passion for driving business results through consumer insights within the convenience channel.

    Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
