Join our dynamic, growing, team based company and take your career to new heights. TSW is in search of a General Manager for our Bridgeview, IL facility. The General Manager role will be responsible for planning, organizing, directing, controlling, coordinating and motivating the efforts of our Bridgeview facility to maintain and continuously improve our safe, efficient and profitable operations while producing top quality material.

    Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

    • Operating a highly efficient and profitable operation while upholding the policies, practices, procedures and ethics as set forth
    • Oversees all safety and environmental programs, putting safety first in all decisions
    • Responsible for supervision and leadership of all Mill Management, Team Leaders, Team Members and Administrative Staff personnel
    • Responsible for plant set-up and production flow
    • Responsible for maintaining a thorough knowledge of all machine capabilities to ensure top efficiencies and machine utilization
    • Coordinates with the Quality Control to ensure all quality requirements, documentation and testing procedures are meeting ISO standards
    • Coordinates with Engineering and Maintenance for required equipment repairs, maintenance troubleshooting, etc
    • Leads and maintains our culture centric, team based working environment
    • Works with Financial department to create facility wide annual budget and is accountable for achievement of that budget

    Education/Skills Preferred:

    • College Degree required, Master's Degree preferred
    • Physical ability to operate all facility equipment if the need arises
    • Seven (7) + years supervisory/leadership experience in a manufacturing setting
    • Metals experience is a strong plus
    • Exceptional communication and organizational skills
    • Strong multi-tasking ability
    • Extensive team building, leadership skills and presentation skills
    • Positive attitude with the ability to think critically and problem solve and execute change management
    • Proven ability to display self-confidence, motivation, decisiveness, and flexibility
    • Logical, organized approach enabling the entire day-to-day operations to run smoothly
