    Job Description and Duties

    Under the direction of the Staff Services Manager (SSM) II, the SSM I (Specialist) independently conducts research, interprets and applies applicable laws, rules, regulations, and procedures, manages requests and claims, develops and administers training, and resolves difficult technical health, medical, and safety personnel matters for the Department of Cannabis Control's (Department), Human Resources Branch (Branch), Employee Relations Office.

    Conflict of Interest (COI): This position is subject to COI. The incumbent is required to submit a Statement of Economic Interests (Form 700) within 30 days of assuming office, annually by April 1st, and within 30 days of leaving office.
