    Job Title:
    Reserach Associate 2 EngineerDepartment:Engineering | Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering Research Associate 2 ‐ Engineer in the College of Engineering (COE), Center for Automotive Research (CAR), this position reports to an affiliated faculty member of CAR and supports CAR's research objectives to study, evaluate, and design the next generation of electrified, connected and autonomous driving systems;

    coordinates and conducts research on modeling, optimization and control, both model-based and data-driven of advanced automotive propulsion systems; works with CAR faculty, staff, researchers, students and industry partners to develop and carryout research experiments and support sponsored research; assists in identifying, writing and preparing proposals to pursue new funding opportunities; develops task lists, time lines, and budgets for research projects; supports teaching and training in electrified vehicle technologies.


    Bachelor's Degree:
    Mechanical Engineering or related field

    The target hiring range for this job profile is $67,700 - $90,300.
