    Soliant is excited to announce a collaborative effort with a school district in the Batavia, Illinois area to find a dedicated and skilledHigh School Sign Language Interpreter. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional looking to make a significant impact in the educational journey of students who are deaf or hard of hearing.

    Position Overview:

    • Schedule:Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM
    • Location:Batavia, Illinois area
    • Rate:$35-$39 per hour

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide sign language interpretation services for high school students in various educational settings.
    • Work closely with teachers and staff to ensure communication accessibility.
    • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student plans as needed.

    Qualifications:

    • A minimum score of3.0 on the EIPA(Educational Interpreter Performance Assessment).
    • Possession of aPEL(Professional Educator License) with an endorsement in sign language interpreting.
    • Experience in educational interpreting is preferred.
