    Description
    Selectek is seeking Electrical Design Engineers for a temp-to-perm position with a partnering company in Boston, Massachusetts. Candidates will be designing electrical systems ships. Â This client works exclusively on marine-based projects and is seeking entry-level design engineers for these roles.

    Expected Pay Range:
    $25-$30 per hour depending on experience

    Location:
    Boston, MA

    This company has locations in a variety of seaport areas, but their primary location is in Boston. They are emphasizing hiring entry-level, Bachelor's degree-holding design engineers for these positions.

    Job Details:

    • Designs low to medium voltage systems for ships
    • Develop schematics and wiring diagrams
    • Perform engineering calculations and feasibility studies
    • Create specifications for materials and parts
    • Travel to job sites when necessary. Client estimates schedule of job to be about 20 percent travel with expenses paid by company.

    Job Requirements:

    • BSEE Required, but no field experience necessary.
    • Experience with AutoCAD Electrical with SKM knowledge considered a bonus
    • Knowledge of grounded/ungrounded electrical systems, power distribution and lighting systems
