The Network Engineer role is responsible for the planning, design, engineering, testing and implementation phases of IT projects to ensure the confidential integrity and availability of Patterson's information assets and systems.

Responsibilities
- Accountable for the design implementation deployment integration and initial engineering of IT solutions enhancements to existing IT solutions within assigned technology areas Facilitate the establishment of baselines to monitor systems applications for IT related issues proactively monitor to identify potential issues consult on resolutions Provide guidance contribute to the creation of standards processes procedures identify opportunities to streamline processes enhance efficiency Assist with the resolution escalated alerts service requests incidents may assist team with prioritization based impact issue Collaborate with IT business stakeholders prioritize risks provide mitigation remediation recommendations implement controls Provide information appropriate teams ensure updated documentation knowledge management assigned technology areas Comply Company department policies standards perform duties assigned Accountability network optimization performance tuning security architecture implementation standards compliance Minimum Requirements Bachelor Degree Computer Science Information Technology or related area equivalent education experience 2 years experience network engineering architecture preferably large scale hybrid environment Experience network equipment Juniper Palo Alto Cisco Experience network virtualization technology SD WAN VLAN Azure VLAN Skills And Abilities Strong customer service communication collaboration interpersonal skills Strong problem solving troubleshooting abilities Strong analytical critical thinking skills Able work fast paced multi user environment Ability work independently collaboratively team environment Experience cloud technologies Azure AWS Physical Cognitive Demands Communicate/Hearing Frequently Communicate/Talking Frequently Learn New Tasks Concepts Frequently Make Timely Decisions Context Workflow Frequently Complete Tasks Independently Constantly Maintain Focus Constantly Remember Processes Procedures Constantly Stationary Position Seated Constantly Vision Constantly HandEye Coordination Occasionally Bend Rarely Complete Tasks Noisy Environment Rarely FeelingGraspingHandling Rarely MoveTraverse Rarely Repetitive Motions Rarely This role is a hybrid role days Mendota Heights office The final offer amount would be based factors such as candidate location geographical labor market experience skills.
